Terms of service

These Terms govern use of www.dash-guard.com and purchases from Dashguard. By using the store or ordering, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy, Refund, and Shipping policies. Nothing limits rights that cannot be waived under consumer law.

Eligibility and store use

You must be capable of entering a binding agreement and provide accurate information. You may not interfere with security, introduce malicious code, unlawfully scrape the store, impersonate others, or infringe rights.

Products and road safety

We try to describe products, compatibility, images, and specifications accurately, but displays and packaging may vary. You are responsible for vehicle compatibility and lawful, safe installation and use, including driving, windshield-obstruction, audio-recording, privacy, and surveillance rules. Never operate a device unsafely while driving. Footage does not guarantee an insurance or legal outcome.

Orders, prices, and payment

Prices, promotions, availability, taxes, and shipping charges may change before acceptance. We may reject or cancel for suspected fraud, payment failure, error, legal restrictions, or unreasonable quantities. If we cancel after charging, we refund the affected amount.

Shipping, returns, and warranty

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy; returns by our Refund Policy. Eligible products include the warranty described on their page or in our Limited Warranty Policy. Statutory warranties and remedies remain available.

Accounts and communications

You are responsible for account credentials and activity. Notify us of suspected unauthorized access. We may send transactional notices electronically.

Intellectual property and reviews

Store content and branding are owned by or licensed to Dashguard and may not be commercially copied without permission. Submitted reviews must be truthful, lawful, and yours to submit. You grant Dashguard a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and adapt them for operation and promotion. We may moderate unlawful or misleading content.

Third-party services

The store uses third-party services including Shopify, processors, carriers, and social platforms. Their terms apply. Purchases from Dashguard are transactions with Dashguard, not Shopify.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, general store content is provided “as available,” without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free access. Dashguard is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss. These limits do not exclude legally non-excludable liability, intentional or gross fault, personal injury where prohibited, or mandatory consumer remedies.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Dashguard against third-party claims from your unlawful misuse or material breach. This does not apply to ordinary consumer use or shift responsibility legally placed on Dashguard.

Changes, severability, and waiver

Updates will show a new effective date and material changes apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise. If one provision is unenforceable, the rest continue. Non-enforcement is not a waiver.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Ontario law and applicable federal Canadian law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or forums in their place of residence.
